An actual castle! Grade I listed, turreted, all sweeping staircase and period detail, sitting in its own parkland in the Vale of Glamorgan, minutes off the M4. Hensol takes only one wedding a day, so the whole building is yours for it: the East Tower to get ready in, the Oak Room or the Old Hall for the ceremony and the meal, and a lake with a pontoon out the back for the part of the evening when everyone's had a drink and the light has gone soft. It's grand without being stuffy, and it does the theatre of a big day properly, three hundred years of masonry doing most of the work for you.
